Fj60 oil sensor (1 Viewer)

Ok guys. I have an 84 fj60. I started the engine rebuild about a year ago. In the process, many if my notes and photos have been lost...so, I ordered a new sensor. Has both post and blade....however, I see both post only and p&b listed for the 84...my wiring is messed up enough that it is of little help in figuring this out. So, a) do I have the correct sensor and b) if so, can I run a ground wire from the blade to the frame or (-) terminal?

Shouldn't need too unless you use too much thread tape screwing the sender in stopping it from earthing

Edit' if the sender thread is made of plastic it will need the extra earth
