Hello, I have a 1982 60 series with a 5 Speed gear box. I was told that they didn't come standerd with 5 speed. And i need a new clutch for her. So I'm not sure if the clutch would be the same as a 4 speed, or do I have to buy one that suits the 5 speed gear box.??

I think I might have the clutch you need. Got sent the wrong one for my BJ60 and it's been taking up space ever since. Will have to check and make sure though.

All I know is...
The clutch disc that fits the 4 speed H42 that came originally in a 1986 USA FJ60 fits the H55F transmission. Both TSM have identical 10 spline input shafts.
Toyota clutch disc assy. PN 31250-36343 fits perfectly on this vehicle with the H55F.

But your vehicle is not a USA cruiser... so I could not say for sure.
Others with more knowledge about this hopefully can contribute.

My JDM with H41 uses same clutch as a US 60 with H42. Never heard of anyone needing a different clutch when doing H55 swap so clutch should be the same on all.

Well I'll tell you one thing, it's not the same clutch as fits on a BJ60 with an H55F...

From memory the b motor's input shaft have a different spline to the h motors so they may have done the shaft change when they did the conversion.
In saying that there is late year 82's in Australia that have the 5 speed from factory so I wouldn't be surprised if it was original.
Either way I think you're going to have to separate the box from the motor and find out before you buy. You should be able to overnight or same day the clutch without much drama.
