FJ60 axles under an FJ40 OR FJ55?

I am just curious what all it takes to put fj60 axles under a fj540/fj55? I have a buddy who is looking to do this and I wasn't sure if the driveshafts are splined the same from the transfer cases. Also what modifications are there for the springs etc? I have done some searching but i am not completely clear on all of it and I told him I would look into it for him. Let me know what you guys think

I think that the 60 axle spring pads are further apart and that the spring hangers and shackle hangers will need to be outboarded. I am also going to be paying attention to what the gurus have to say about drive shafts
