Pulled apart stock spring packs. Cleaned and repainted leafs. Lubed when putting back together with a single Man-A-Fre long add-a-leaf in each pack. Added 1 inch extended shackles at each corner with new bushings all around and Pro-Comp 9000 shocks on all four corners (measured between mounts and talked with their tech line to get specific shock numbers.) Probably should have added greasable pins but didn't. Could have pulled the shortest leaf for a slightly softer ride with almost the same lift.
Ended up with exactly 3" of lift, level stance, and, after a few thousand miles, very acceptable ride. Running 31s but will eventually go to 33s...all on FJ60 rims.
Pretty economical mild lift. Meets my needs for a daily driver used also for hunting, camping and mild to mid-range wheeling.
