FJ55 spotted under an overpass

On the way to work today I saw a primer grey FJ55 by the Ashland orange line station. Looked like in pretty good shape for a 55. Couldn't tell if it was for sale or someone's daily driver. I'm guessing its a daily since it was out driving in this weather.

I saw one driving on 1-55 near I-53 a couple months ago. It was White/Orangish color, stock. I couldnt beleive it I took a picture with my cell phone.

That may have been mine. It has not been out and about for a few months now. (too much salt and a pin hole in the thermostat housing)
The roof is grey (was red), but the rest is the stock tan/sand color on white.

Yep, that's mine (notice the cool, low slung exhaust). It's been a long project, that gets started, and stopped, only to get started again later.

I saw a 55 today.

Looked like crap though. The whole front end was laying on the floor.

I was at Pick-n-Pull in Summit and they had a similar 4 Runner sitting. Seemed to have decent body panels and tail lenses. Interior and dash were shot. It also had some sort of lift on it as well. (cast spacer between the spindle and spring and a drop bracket do-hickey for the front axle) It had what was left of a 22RE in it as well.

Thanks Phil. It's an 85 (solid front axle), but I could use some spare parts... Where is the Pick-n-Pull in Summit? Can you tell I'm not from here?
