H44 which I think is the transmission, but I cannot find any further on this either.

That's odd but cool. Looks like someone is trying to turn a pickup into a 4 door wagon. The roof is very Rover looking. Where is that photo from?

Found in South Africa, also never seen one, or even a picture before.

Was also thinking the roof looked a little landrover-ish.

Any more info on the H44?

Looks like a troopie with a door cut-out not a pick-up. Are you sure it is H44 for the tranny? I think you may have some axle designation instead of a tranny number.

I thought the P denotes pick-up

The rear diff is K082, 9.5" ring gear, 4.111 ratio, 2=open
