Does anyone know where I could get some stock wheels for a 45? I think that I like the way that looks best with the tired under the fenders. Like the one the marksoffroad.net webpage.
Thanks for your help.

Hmmmm,

That contradicts a PM that you sent me about a week ago, I think. Can you please clarify?

Thanks,
Marvin

If you run the original split rims on a FJ45, does that mean that you cannot upgrade to disc brakes on the front end? I wanted to upgrade my truck to FJ40 front discs, but I also want to run the original split rims. Is that possible?

Thanks,
Marvin

Yes I have a set on my 45 with disc brakes and they work fine.

I have two other sets off rigs now. I will double check by bolting it on this afternoon

Hmmmm...Actually it doesn't

I'm assuming his 45 is of the 60s vintage. If so disc brake wheels will work for both disc and drums. If he has 60s vintage stock wheels and 60s vintage axles with drums he will be fine. If he has 60s vintage stock wheels , but has disc brakes the wheels will not work as they will bind on the rivets.

He wants stock wheels so I'm assuming that he wants ones that came on it originally. Splits only came on non-usa rigs as far as I know.

So the split rims will work with both drum and disc.. In the PM you pasted I said the same thing. They will work with your rig, either drum or disc.

FJ45 clarification

I have a '66 45 with front disc brakes and would like splits. I have the white wagon wheel looking ones now. I plan to keep those for a different tire set up.
Thanks

Split rims

Thanks for the offer. You are right, the shipping puts it well over my budget. I may have to hold off on these and use the funds to do more important work.
