Hi lads, how you doing
New here and know nothing about cruisers, so here goes, i've used the search button and not too much information came up, so maybe i'm barking up the wrong tree to start with.
Some time in the near future we plan on pulling a travel trailer round north America, now the obvious choice is a shiny new all singing all dancing 1/2 ton pick up but that really ain't for me, much to complicated and technical, whereas an ole troopie not only looks the red setters rude bits, but i'd stand some chance of doing a bit a maintanence myself.
What i need to know is if a cruiser is up to pulling a 5000lb trailer, now i would be expecting to have to do some nods and such and would prefer to plough money into a vintage motor than new.
So any ideas where a fella could get such information, i've tried the toyota site, but the only fj section always seems to be down, to many recalls i expect, another good reason to go vintage.
Thanks for any help
Good luck
Pete
