Finally became a 45 owner and want to share some pictures of this beauty.I plan to leave it unrestored and unpainted.Will need some mechanical and some cosmetic work.It's a 1976 out of Canada and a 17 year barn storage veteran with 72,000 miles.Really enjoy the 45 talk on this site.

Nice one * :clap::clap:
if you leave it unrestored I would protect it (frame , underside, inside doors etc.) with grease like
Fluid Film® | Corrosion Preventative, Lubricant and Rust Inhibitor
or an other stuff against corrosion.
Cheers
Peter

*.. would remove the rear bumber it`s not my taste ;)
but don`t remove your 16 split rims, they are my taste ;)

A perfect barn find! Nice Work man!

I second Peter's suggestion of a rust inhibiting coating ... you don't want to undo 17 years of dry storage.

Cheers,

Matt

Very nice. I know that shop... Hilltop Cruisers

That's nicer than the one he sold me!:D:D Same color though...

Thanks for the comments.I have sent the truck to a southern Wisconsin shop where my brother works.There the entire truck will be detailed to be used and displayed as an unrestored original.This truck is so nice I just can't bring myself to any modifications which was my intent while looking for a 45.I prefer not to discuss costs.The truck will be kept and ocassionaly used in my home town of Baileys Harbor WI a summer resort community.My fun will be in shareing this truck with other vehicle enthusiasts and driving it in our local parades with the grandkids.Also,displaying at our local Toyota dealership.Long live the 45.
