Guys,
I have a 64 fj45 lv that is sprung over, high steered, Howe ram assist power steering, under armored like a tank, 327 with a three speed presently installed with a t-400 and rebuilt cruiser t-case sitting in a crate next to it. The interior is stripped. I have pretty much every part to complete the truck. It came complete with crappy interior. I began to repair a few rust spots, had the entire front end stripped and dipped,(may need it again to freshen up prior to painting, has a warn 9000 up front. It has a locker in the rear, disc up front and I think drum in the rear.

Most of the mechanical work was done by the Badlands Offroad shop in Indiana. It is a project that I am afraid I will never get to cause I keep scooping up other junk that is further along.
I am not sure if I should get rid of it cause it will be missed. But seeing as I spend most of my time with my 55 and the kids, it may never get further...

If anyone is interested in a project like this, let me know. I might try to get it further completed and then sell it on here in the classifieds or worse case hit Ebay. I am concerned though cause I sold a few pickups a year or two ago and the guy was a bit odd when he received them. I was beyond fair, overly honest about every detail, and still felt like the dude was not happy. He could have sold one for what I sold him two for, or close, but he still wasn't happy. I don't want to deal with that unless I have to.
I can show anyone locally at almost any time. The cruiser is at my home in Green Oaks Il.

Any advice or thoughts would be great. I am torn but space here sucks and I want to make room for some type of shop. Storage is an option but I am afraid it will just sit there for years...

Before anyone gives me crap about no price, keep in mind I am looking for thoughts not values. I am hoping someone locally wants to take over where I left off.

I am speechless still.

Had a great time catching up with John and Todd.

had a blast Eric I will never have pity on you. Your garage is full of goodies! I still want that Patrol! So does my wife she is now back on a selling the fj62 and getting a 40 series.

$10 says you'll end up with a third gen....... unless jen does the get 40 Im guessing the 1st gen will go bye bye.

nope the 1st gen is going no where. I cant think of a better vehicle/platform for a vintage, topless, fun, DD in Chicago land. Especially once I drop a 1uzfe in it.

Thats the way it looked when it showed up to my place. Looks much better now.
Looking forward to hearing that you have it running. I found the ashtray, light switch, and a couple of dash colored lights that I purchased for it. Might be extras but they are yours.
Been working on the shop. Added the electric tonight and getting ready for insulation and drywall. It is a good distraction from the fact that the lv is not there. I want the shop done so bad I can taste it. Until then, I'll just taste the beer along the way!
