Offered for sale, one complete aluminium utility bed for a long wheel base landcruiser. 6'X7'. Sides flop down or remove for a full flat bed. US guys: Go for the Aussie Ute look! Aussie guys: you're kinda screwed cause it's really heavy and really far away from you.

If you have a fully rusted out bed, this may be your best inexpensive and durable answer.

I have removed this bed from my HJ47 project for which I'm going back to the style side bed configuration. It is extraordinarily sturdy, and complete. Normal wear, some drilled holes from previous uses, but no real damage. Comes with frame rails, headache rack, towing hitch, and light bar. Aluminum construction with stainless steel fenders, and various steel pieces on the headache rack, hinges, and on the hitch bar.

Transportation is tricky, as it is big and heavy (maybe 400+lbs) and obviously awkward. I can get it loaded onto a truck locally (Tampa Bay Florida) if required, but I can't deliver. Price: $1000 picked up or loaded by me locally onto a tow bed or other truck. I have a .pdf with more pics (on the truck) that I am happy to send, and/or can take more pics of it where it sits today in my garage.

Please PM with an email address if you would like the pics.

It is certainly an odd item for North America. To this I admit. Before breaking it down for scrap though, I'd like to see if it can find a good home. You can't beat the design from the pure utility standpoint. Ugly, but useful.

Interesting full or partial trades anyone?

Got 5 good 16 inch split rims sitting around?
A front section frame-rail-mount alum fuel tank to fit a 47?
A new-ish 8274 winch?
A new wiring harness for a 47?
A set of rust free late model front doors suitable for chopping to half doors? (no glass, mechanicals, or upper frame required.)

I'm open to ideas.

tray ute bed

I probably saw 20 FJ45s in New Zealand and 3/4 of them had that bed. They call it a tray ute and it is really nice and sturdy. Just pull 4 pins and the sides drop down and you have a flat bed. Before you junk it out try other sights it should convert to other makes of trucks.

I am from Marion County, Fla. just north of Ocala

Can you send me some pics, underneath, how it is or has been mounted etc.
