The husband of someone on our staff is in the market for a 40 (grew up with one) and noticed a couple of them for sale parked on the side of Pearson Rd in Pearl. Anybody know anything about them? Anybody have a 40 for sale?

You missed a great one that just sold on e-bay for $6100 (a buddies truck). There are several on the Bayou State Landcruisers thread. Take a look at their for sale section.

Come see us sometime!

Later,

Was that the black one or the red one that you mentioned in recent posts?

Seems like you mentioned a couple of them recently, one black and one red. There are a couple of pretty nice original trucks on Ebay right now, one in Nashville and one in Dallas, both ending in 3-4 days but I thought I might get the lowdown on any local trucks for him.

I guess I'd need to wear a name tag if I showed up at a club meeting. I've been pretty consumed with restoration of houses and sailboats recently. Don't know when I'll get back on that '70 cruiser but hopefully this Spring. I'm REALLY getting tired of walking the narrow path that's still open through my garage.

Mickey, a guy that several of us knows has been parking cruisers over that way. Holler at one of the old timers for the long version before your friend buys one of those rigs.

OH, BTW.. come back to a meeting! We meet at the Cherokee now.

I would bet dollars to donuts that the husband to the friend of a sister of one of Greg's cousins who works on your staff saw 2 flooded out 60's on Pearson Rd.

But I have been wrong before.

I know how you feel.
