FJ40 Split tcase cover into FJ70 split tcase

Does anyone knows if the tcase cover of a 1982 FJ40 fits into a 1987 FJ70 split tcase?

Both gear boxes are 4 speed, but the FJ70 has the new design with the housing separator( for 5th gear ) in between the gearbox and the tcase.

I am trying to skip the hassle of discovering to late that it doesnt fit.

Different idler shaft diameter. If you're using the whole case, it should be fine.

If 4 speed, there's no oiler for 5th gear, so it should be okay.
