Not a problem Crusty selling to a fellow mudder. As far as a “deal” goes, if I was financially able to, I would give them away to a fellow mudder. For some of us, it isn’t easy to finance this sport and it becomes necessary to receive fair market value for items as much as possible in order to stay involved. Good marketing has always been a basic principal of selling something. The cruiser community is not just made up of people here, so therefore, "egay". There are over 400 listings for cruiser parts (just 40s and 60s) as we speak so I can't imagine I am the first fellow mudder to use
Ebay. There are many in the cruiser community who haven't discovered this site. Are you saying I shouldn’t have let fellow mudders know these were available for sale? This is my first attempt to sell a cruiser item of some significant value and I meant no offense to anyone here. Perhaps next time, I will post here first and if no one is interested in paying what I consider fair market value (after considerable research), then try
Ebay. Maybe others will chime in here and help me learn more about proper mud etiquette.
If you are sincere about your offer, I would be more than willing to sell the doors to you or any other mudder. I would take $475.00 for them plus the ride ($25.00) and cancel the
ebay ad today. That is less than what I have seen them sell for in the past in this condition. Otherwise, I am willing to wait and see what the cruiser community at large determines is fair market value for them. My Paypal account is
Rfeatherston1@aol.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
