I am switching my rear end out of my 1972 fj40. I am putting in a truck because it has a center pumkin. I have a chance to pick up a 1982 or a 1988. Is one better then the other? (both have 4:11) thanks

Hi All:

If you mean a rear axle from a Toyota mini-truck, then a rearend from the '86/up V-6 model is the one you want to use (stronger than the I-4 model.)

Regards,

Alan
