That's damn nice!!! Too bad it won't fit on the 80.

I heard that after installation your rear drive shaft has a 10 minute life expectancy.

It's true I saw it with my own eyes.

I'm not sure if that had anything to do with blocking in somebodies trailer for an hour installing said bumper.

The same trailer that needed to rescue said 40?

Should I send the 80 home w/ you after tech session? :D

You wouldn't want to be with out your 80 that long, I think I would need to yank a junked one out of salvage yard to be my guinea pig.

It shouldnt be hard, the 80 has a bolt pattern in the rear bumper, like the 40. And the rear bumper is a x-member.

Thanks John.

Do Moe, Curly and Larry still have the junk 80 behind Carls shop? If so, is there still a back half (frame and skin)?

Tell you what Walter.. you build me a rear bumper for free...I'll run a Gappy-Fab sitcker on my 60 as advertisement

There has to be a catch, what else would I owe you?

We will have to talk in private about that
Wink, wink nudge, nudge
Know what I mean

Get in line mo, I was here first. Go play with your caulk why don'tcha!:flipoff2:

The 10 minute life cycle was operator error with a loose nut behind the wheel. Said nut has been tightened and thread locked.

It was a 15 minute install ya big Green meanie. That trailer did come in handy on the sand dunes on the way back though.

It's a very nice piece of work Tom! Great fabbing it up!

Thanks John.

You could defiantly make some $$ doing swing out 80 bumpers, they pay well over 1000$ for them, in fact I think some of the bumpers are over 2k$

Damn this isnt helping me fight my recent urge to cut all the tube off my 4runner and do something different....
