FJ40 rear bench seat for sale

$75. An early Bronco rear seat I installed for a platform to lash down the baby seat years ago. These days the baby would rather be behind the wheel than back there. It has also been reported that this seat is not too comfy for people older than about 11 years. Can't say, as I've never been back there myself . My new configuration doesn't include rear riders, so out it goes.

It has plastic doors front and rear to make under seat storage. A little wear on the gray vinyl, still solid, but a little sag in the middle from full size riders. I would reinforce the frame if I was keeping it. Ford didn't make it very stout.

I have one of these also probably not going to use. Seen them go for a lot more than $75 on Ebay. Should find a Brono site. Sure somebody restoring a early Brono could use it. The one I had in the past worked great when my kids were little, but using plywood as a base doesn't make it a very stout seat for adults. I like the fold and tumble Montero seat I have better.

I used large heavy fender washers. Plus a I used a piece of angle iron bolted to the top of the frame on each side, then used that to anchor my seat belts. My kids were in car seats when I installed this seat. While seat belts were never put to the test I felt better knowing they anchored to the frame.

You're assuption is correct. 3 would be a crowd.
