Visors and the bestop bikini top have been sold. THANKS!! :)

Also, discovered that the used bikini top I have is a Kayline (STC) so it will NOT work with a tiger channel. I will include it with the used Kayline (STC) top that I have if someone buys the tops or if you have a Kayline top and would like a bikini top that works with your windshield channel you can PM me with an offer. I believe STC still sells these for about $73 although I could only find reference to them on the pricing and instruction page.

For those interested here are some pics of a Kayline tire carrier installed on a FJ40. The nice person that has a FJ40 up on eBay (check it out!! http://tinyurl.com/ebtvw) allowed me to use them so folks could see what the tire carrier I have would look like installed. Check out the auction for bigger pics and possibly for a new Cruiser :)

Sorry, I wasn't very clear on that...The old price was $600 reduced to $500 obo now. I'll see if I can fix up the list to make it more clear re: the price reduction. Thanks!
 
Updated the JTO PS bracket part #. Apparently they have changed the part # somewhere along the line so searching JTO's site on the old part # I supplied didn't provide any results.

Actually I do have a set of rear fender flares. I don't remember what type or make they are. I haven't decided if I am going to sell them or try to use them on the '74. The '74 has a set but they got rock or tree rashed on the Rubicon by the PO. I'll try to find them and post up the info on them.

Also, the rear flares I have appear to be Duraflares. I think I'll use them unless someone wants to buy them at near full price ($140 on SOR, not sure where else you can buy them). If anyone is seriously interested in them I can snap some pics and send them to you. Just PM me an email addy.
 
The Tigertop is a Bestop top. It came with the '76 when I bought it and I don't know if the PO purchased it from Bestop or through SOR or ??? I believe the Tigertop is sold but if you are interested I can put you down in line if the deal falls through. Thanks!
 
I was just wondering if it was the SOR version or not because the SOR version is supposedly different (heavy denim vs vinyl)

After your post I went to the SOR site and did some checking. I noticed where they state that they have Bestop "custom make" them tops that only they carry. I'll take them at their word but I have no knowledge of this one way or the other. I did go check my Tigertop for the SOR "label" they mention on the site and didn't see anything of the sort. Maybe the top I have is before SOR started having labels put on them? I looked through all the records I have from the PO and couldn't find anything specific to the soft top. I do know the PO purchased most of the stuff for the FJ40 from SOR (per receipts) but it is a 50/50 whether or not this particular top is a SOR version. I can tell you it is the Black Crush (I think that is what they call it) style which is the more shiny black color as seen in the pics vs the duller black look. The top is 4+ years old. It came with the FJ40 when I bought it in 2002. It was installed and used by the PO and then taken off when the hard top was put back on prior to my purchase. It has been sitting in my basement ever since.

Not sure that really helps but that is what I know...
 
Weighed and measured the Kayline tire carrier for an interested party and figured I add the details to the listing. They are shown in the first post but here they are as well:

Estimated boxed up size will be 66"x18"x12" and weight of about 55 lbs. Shipping from 80126 (CO) to the East coast is roughly $50 via FedEx ground so that should give you an idea of the cost. Unless you are up in the Northeast I can't see shipping be anymore anywhere else.

Soslo...Thanks for your interest. I believe the Tigertop is sold. No $$ yet but I have a committment and I am in the process of trying to box the top and doors up. If that deal falls through I'll let you know but I won't be able to get anymore pics as the top is wrapped up in bubble wrap and in a box now.

As for the top. I've always thought all tops were 'denim' until I bought the new Supertop (since sold) and compared it to the Tigertop. The Supertop was a dull black that 'felt' different. When you ran your fingernail across the fabric it wasn't smooth if that makes sense. The Tigertop is glossy black and smooth. Maybe one is denim and one is vinyl? Or maybe they are both denim and vinyl and it is just that Bestop uses a different process when they are finished...Checking the Bestop site didn't result in anything definitive as the description is basically identical as to the 'fabric' between the two. But that is now and this top is 4+ years old.If you still are interested in a top I have one more left. It is an older Kayline (now STC) in good shape (one tear that could be stiched up) that comes with 1/2 doors and a bikini top that works with the fastrack channel.
