Hi all
Trying to sleuth my ND AC which was dealer fitted when the truck was 3yo in 1981.

Trying to ID the below bundle:

-Single wire is an earth
-Single blade possibly runs to pressure switch (?)
-What is the 3 blade and where should it be going

Many thanks!

Those look like the connectors that appeared on the '79 factory installed A/C. So the dealership may have just been copying
the schematic from the 1979 in which case its in the electrical diagram.

Thanks! Can you pls show the detail around the AC relay top right, and also where the BLK runs to off the control panel, lower part of the diagram.

I have some information on the OEM AC electrical. Can you tell me the wire colors and position in the plug? 40 yo wiring, never know who has done what.
Thank you
Luckily the loom is unmodified and all the original connectors are present.

The two connectors on the back of the control unit merge into the main AC loom, and that then splits into a Y. One branch leads to the under-dash unit and that is all correctly plugged in.

The other branch terminates with these three ends.

The heavier gauge white/black on its own has a round terminal crimped on - earth.

The single spade ‘OE plug’ is light blue/white

The larger 3-spade OE plug is pictured here:

So I assume at this end of the loom it’s provision to connect to 12V, and the AC pressure switch in the engine bay etc.

Right now we don’t even have ‘fan’ control, so I assume the system has no 12V to it. The AC blower fan does work fine with direct connection.

Any help much appreciated

The 3 terminal connector has a LR, and 2 other wires, can you confirm colors, thanks. Whites can look yellow in the photos.

In general, Black/white is power out to Idle Up VSV and compressor clutch via the refrigerant pressure switch, Black is the tack signal from the coil, and Blue/red is power in via the AC relay and a 15 A fuse.
