Nuclearlemon, (Ige) gifted me this tailgate several years ago, she obviously was on the JD when she torched 6” of rust off the lower. Had a Cruiser guy see it and proclaimed you could never repair that….. challenge accepted. First was to square it up and cut a nice straight line… I used the tops off 2 crusty split doors to fix it, to make the contours line up, each half had to be sectioned.
