I wish a new ICON was in the budget but my wife needs a few more promotions for that.

If I had Icon money, I'd just have Mudrak build me a 40 for less than the price, and get the things I like in it, like a Toyota drivetrain.
Nonetheless, the Icon is stuill a drool-inducing ride, but I would not own one.

I have a 2007 FJ and I have a 3 year old and a 2 month old that I throw in the back now and then. I am willing to put up with the small hastle of opening the suicide door and moving the seats forward to get them in and out because of all the plus side of the FJ. Besides its a Toyota. The thing is going to last forever. I have owned Fords, GMC, Chevy and Toyotas. The toyotas just last longer and require a hell of alot less maintenance. I don't have anything against jeeps, but have heard from several owner friends of mine that the maintenance is costly and frequent. If this is going to be the family vehicle, gotta do what is going to make Momma happy. If mamma is happy, everyone is happy. Good luck.
