I might be interested in the turbo. How large is the MR2 engine and what's it's redline?
Where are you located in the PNW? I assume the Seattle area.

cruiser_guy- from what I gather via internet research...
The stock turbocharger on the MKII is Toyota’s CT-26. It is water and oil cooled. The turbo also has an internal wastegate. The turbo utilizes a small (possibly 40-trim) compressor wheel, and an equally sized impeller on the exhaust size. Most have found that the exhaust side ultimately limits the turbo’s power capabilities, in that it is not efficient at higher boost. For this reason, owners increasing boost should not exceed 14-15psi with a stock turbo.
I am in Seattle but make it up across the border now and then.

sirenmoses- heres the liftgate prior to being pulled. it's been stored inside since then. I'm willing to ship but doubt it would be worth it. It woul dhave to go greyhound... probably $50-$70?

Can the wastegate be adjusted? What was the MR2 engine displacement? The CT26 is a generic name for the exhaust flange footprint. A CT26 from a 'Cruiser is NOT the same as a CT26 from a Supra. I need to know how close the MR2 turbo is to a 'Cruiser turbo.

hmm... i know the ct26 from a supra won't fit, but if I recall I have seen folks have used the ct26 from the mr2. it's smaller than that of the supra. i know nothing about mr2s... bought this online. so. there's nothing i can tell you that you can't find by searching. sorry.

What is the shaft play like? Is it tight axially (in-out) and radially (side to side)? Does it spin freely? Any damage on the blades? Is the waste gate adjustable?
I'd like to have a look at it. I'll be through Seattle on March 9, probably mid to late morning. Could we meet say at lunch time near I-5 or I-405 to have a look at it?

Sure, that would work... I live not far from I5 (1 mile). The shaft seems tight, both axially and radially. Blades are in good shape. The waste gate was damaged when it was being pulled. Seems like it's functional but it's a cheap thing to just replace and be done with. That was my plan. send me an email and i'll get you a phone # and directions. rhodes.creations@gmail.com

drivers side window regulator still tight? how much to 59715? also, do you have any oem foglight switchs? thanks!

just sold the regulator... I don't have a factory switch designed for fog lights... in fact to be honest I didn't know it was an option! never seen them. on the other hand I do have a pile of defroster/rear heater/etc. switches that might work and would look right on the dash...

thanks anyway. I saw a picture of the oem foglight switch cruising around here the other day, I don't remember where I saw it, but it was somewhere on mud, looks like a pretty cool thing to have.

Put me down for the lower dash too if it has no cracks.

d'animal- sorry i have a seperate listing for the PTO. I'm asking $500.
cruiser guy- by "lower dash" I mean the metal dash part that the other dash is just above... so no cracks... but then it's metal...

I'm talking 4th picture down in post #13.
