FJ 80 steering stabilizer

I started to remove this old steering stabilizer and it just won't move. I think is shoud be pressed in and come out after I remove the locking nut. I put the pickel fork in there and it won't budge. Any advice is welcome. Thanks. see the pics

A plumbers torch and a tie rod puller. You can buy a puller on amazon or rent one from oreillys.
 
Thanks. I don't see a way to remove the old stabilizer without taking the pin out. Does that sound right?
 
Couple of recent threads on this
 
I did this recently. Pickle fork and a BFH on the DR side. Remove two bolts in bracket on pass side and use a TRE puller. Came out with a POP.
I didn't need heat, but no rust here.

Update- I got it off and the new one on. Thanks for all of the great tips.
