FJ 75 info needed

My truck had to go for an official weigh in and testing in Kyoto. If you get your tags down there and the title says Toyota LC under vehicle type you will fail several key tests. What you want is Type = unknown. Also you will need an English or Japanese translation of the Arabic door tag, no worries, I have one.

A US tittle will be great for the shakken-sho. It will confirm to them that you need your hat size reduced (it has no value at all, it is worth nothing in Japan and caries no weight at all).

You fellas are getting tough. Not a problem though, I'm good dealing that way Mine does have the 3F in it with very low mileage. I'm just thinking of putting the 3FE motor in it to do away with the carb--preferance on my end. Will possibly make the change to diesel (12HT) once I get everything else finished. Want the 80 axles with E-lockers for the little extra width (I know it's not much) and I keep the high pinion front diff and have rear discs all in one, will replace the electric parts with cables from downey as soon as they are under the truck.
I know the US title doesn't amount for much here. It will allow me to TMO it back to the states with no hassle, which is the main plan for getting the vehicle.

Not exactly sure how it all works, but it seems to me, if you manage to get a title from the states, you could register it as an "E" plate instead of a "Y" plate....

Truck is in the works for the Y plate now,will not need to go to Mainland after all. Good friend found out the particulars and the truck falls into a certain category that negates it needing emissions test--good day on this end! Should be licensed in 4-6 weeks and will then start the transformation process
Bill at Typhoon Motors has found me all of the info concerning heater/AC parts and they are not very expensive.
Title for the US is worked out as well, suprising way it is happening but it is all legal.

I go in for the Post Op visit on the 12th so I should be here. Stop by the house and say hello when you get here, if you have time. I think I have a Miller Lite somewhere in the back of the fridge!!
