I've had my truck for many years it has sat for a few now that I hav a rear axle for it agin I'd like to get it back on the rd ther is a few chewed up wires hear and ther I've mended I dropped the tank cleaned it and replaced the pump also cleaned the lines new filter . She starts but won't stay running for long . any help would b great today on my day off I'm planning to trace down the pump wire I think it goes thru the back fender into the cab it looks like my volts to the pump only come when the ignition switch is in the crank position. I'm going to try to do the diagnostic mode and bypass the pump as well .thank u for helping

Here's a thread with some info from the 60 series tech section that may help:
My quick suspicion is a fault at the air flow meter, assuming it runs for a second or 3 then dies..

If this doesn't help, post in that tech section to get tech advice, this section is for help / announcements related to the forum, not vehicle tech.
