Its the pivot in front of the frame crossmember, I know the term for it but forget it right now, taken off to do a Saginaw conversion, have better pics if needed, had to size them way down:mad:

as far as the knob, had two of those style shifters and neither had the knob intact any longer, sorry
 
You wouldn't happen to have the choke knob and cable along with the throttle knob and cable from the 64?
