I found an 09 GX close by and have done extensive research on the vehicle. Logged into Lexus Driver and ran the VIN, carfax, NADA and the such. I know tons of info about it. In my opinion, the dealer is asking way too much for it at $15,185. Here is a quick run down and I'd like some input on this. It came from Brooklyn, New York, Two Owners in it's lifetime. It was hit and repaired on the passenger side when two years old and repaired at a Lexus Dealer/Body Shop. The vehicle had reguylar and accurate Lexus service right up to 55,000 miles and then it fell off the Lexus grid and became a Wal-Mart Quick lUbe kind of vehicle. It ended up at auction after the second owner traded it. THe vehicle is currently sitting on 111,000 miles and cosmetically it is in phenominal shape. However, the lack of a documented service for the last 50,000 miles and a wreck on it's record combined with the fact that it's been sitting on this dealers lot for 8 months makes me think I have some wiggle room to haggle. Being a auction vehicle I'm thinking the dealer got it at a steal. I think I'm going to offer him $13,000.00 Is this too high, to low.? I know you guys haven't seen it but for ball park sake... Kelly Blue Book buts it mid 13K. Can I get some input? Yes, it's loaded, third seat air, nav the works.

I'd want to see some very detailed pictures of the undercarriage. Coming from New York it could have some serious rust issues. There is a diminished value with any repairs so without knowing other details and condition I would be closer to $10K or less.

I have an ‘07 I jumped on that had 77k miles on it last year. It was from New Jersey and in hindsight I wish I’d shopped around more. It looks new compared to those pictures and your pictures make me feel better about the purchase! Keep looking is my recommendation. Seems like the people getting Texas trucks are getting black frames that look brand new.

Wouldn't ever buy a NYC or NJ vehicle. Have you seen the amount of salt that they use? Not to mention the roads they have to drive on every day? Stick to a southern/southwest truck.

Get a Texas truck like I did, 102k miles and the frame looked black and shiny like it was on the showroom floor. Has the towing prep package but didn't have a hitch or wiring, so it shuttled upper middle class kids to Soccer and Mommy to her hair and nail appointments. Lexus service history the whole way. Fully loaded, every box checked except KDSS. Had mine delivered to Ohio for $875 but you could save a few bucks with a 1-way flight and drive it home.

The towing package didn't include a hitch on any truck, it just included a wiring harness already run in the car with a connection for a brake controller under the dash and a 7 pin trailer wiring connector is tucked up under the bumper. If you have the tow package you have a trailer connector already on your truck.

Yes, I know, my point was the truck was under-worked. I wanted the tow prep package but didn't want the mystery of how huge a trailer the truck had been pulling and for how long. Obviously my truck was just a people shuttle. I've since added a hitch and brake controller.
