Hey everyone. First off I should say Hi as I'm new to posting on the forum. I apologize if I posted this thread in the wrong place.
I'm planning on turbo charging my 1991 3L Hilux Pickup. I don't plan on running more then 10psi. My question is has anyone ever modded the 3L pump by adding the boost compensator from the mechanical 2LT pump? I've done some reading and it sounds like people have done it but I'm struggling to come up with much information. Does anyone have any first hand information/advice? Is the extra bit of performance/fuel economy worth the trouble? Thanks for taking the time to read my post and if anyone has any other advice in regards to anything else regarding the turbo conversion please feel free to chime in.
