I recently bought my first Land Cruiser. I absolutely love the vehicle, needs new interior and carpet. Could use a respray, some ARB bumpers and a little lift. But before I do all that, I want to make sure the vehicle is reliable.

I’m planning on tearing into this in the next couple weekends.

Parts not listed that I have-
Fuel filter

Radiator
Radiator hoses
Spark plugs
Wires
Cap and rotor

What do you think I’m missing or I should do while I’m in there?

Yeah, seems like a large list.

I'd give it all a good clean, degrease etc, then drive it a for a couple of weeks to give it a shake down and get familiar with it before firing the parts cannon at it.
Understand its current 'normal'.

Then, change all fluids.

Degrease the engine thoroughly so you can pinpoint any oil leaks.

I'd definitely plan on changing all rubber hoses. But unless you had specific concerns over the condition, wouldn't panic about chanting them.

Plus and leads, rotor, and dizzy cap for sure.

Oil pump rotor, relief valves etc, why? Do you have reason to think they are no good?

Where are you sourcing parts?
 
That's a lot of parts. I guess we can assume it's a stock rig with no maintenance history. You replacing radiator because it's obviously bad or just because?I have reason to beleive the provious owner

I have reason to believe the previous owner put some sort of stop leak in the coolant system. Carfax had record of a service done at a local Toyota dealer. I called to ask what was done and they said. It had a leak, they recommended getting a new radiator and the owner said no.

This is my daily so I need it to be reliable. I drive 1 hour to and from work 5 days a week. It leaks from the oil pump seal so I figured I would replace everything while I was in there. After doing a little more research I came to the conclusion that the rotor and relief valve probably didn't need to happen. I understand its a large list but I enjoy working on vehicles. Its lasted 213K I would like to freshen it up so it will last another 213K
 
If OEM, based on age alone it's worthwhile changing the radiator. The dealer inquiry would suggest there's more that makes this a priority. Although I went with brass when I did mine, based on what I know now I'd go with aluminum for it's superior heat disaappating qualities.

That said, I'd recommend making sure whatever the dealership and Stop Leak were up to didn't involve signs of a failed head gasket, If that was the case you want that cleaned up before the new radiator.
