I believe this is the horn you want. If you do a search this is what a few people have put in and like it.

I didn't see these in search results but I did find the El Grande FIAMMs being mentioned. It looks like the El grande has a high/low tone versus these.

Yeah your gearing is off and you will ride the brakes a lot more.
Once I changed to 4.88s, it made a big difference in 4lo.

congrats, the truck looks great!

Yet another job to add to my long list. I did not like having to ride the brakes at all. If i were to drop back down to 33s, would the gearing be respectable?

What kind of tires and size? I have the same wheels and love them!!! I suggest get the Bosch horns...I bought my horn from the Philippines...AND IT'S FREAKIN LOUD!!! I've never seen the same horn here in the US. I'll try to take a picture to give you an idea what it looks like...Great lookin' rig!

BFG A/T 315/75/17s. I'm wanting to go to the MTs once these wear out but I don't know their qualities in desert terrain.

Did you have it in 1st, or whatever the lowest gear is on the automatic shifter (D1, dunno and I am far far from my LX). 1st + 4lo I wouldn't think you would have to ride the brake, but of course I am from flat as a board Louisiana, nothing here like a mountain or even a hill.

Yeah, it was in 1st. I'll be looking at new gears down the road. I have a few priorities to take care of first though.

33s did better but I don't think you want to go downsize. Once you have 35's you gotta keep them:hmm: :steer:

the BFG's AT's are great for the desert. I am running Nitto Terragrapplers and really like them as well. It was a toss up but I just liked the tread & siping on the Nittos.
