First LC!

Hey all, happy to be here. I recently picked up a 93 LC, CDL, arb bumper. Just put some lights on and 30mm spacers up front. Spares a buddy had laying around. Hopefully picking up a parts truck this weekend with a 3” lift on it and all the odds and ends I’ll need. I couldn’t be happier with this rig. Looking forward to all the knowledge and insight that’s held here on this sight and to share my progress on the rig.

We originally were going to buy and build a square body suburban for the family camping and wheeling rig. While out at the king of the hammers this year we packed the family into a buddies 80 and the rest is history. I’ve got a 52 Willy’s I’m building as well, Chevy 4.3, yj 2” lift springs SUA, fj40 axles, trans and tcase in it as well. Lots of plans for the future.

Long time lurker of the site, glad to finally be apart of it. I’ll get a picture posted soon.

Welcome! I picked up my 80 in Tucson 4 years ago and drove her back to the east coast...gotta love the rust free trucks in AZ!

I've also got a Willys ('51 M38) and there's a lot of historic and layout connection between the two vehicles. I'm typically working back towards stock configuration though so have a very different Jeep and soon to have a pretty different 80 by the sounds of it.

Mine was all stock when I bought it with the original army data plate (that won’t go anywhere). Motor lost compression and once I decided not to rebuild the f head it spiraled out of control from there! The tub has a fair bit of rust so it was never going to be a parade queen lol.

Dobinsons lift on progressive coils...honestly I forget which ones, but I'm very happy with them. Falken Wildpeak M/T 315x75x16's.

Thank you, that’s what I’m leaning towards. I’m picking up a parts truck Saturday and it has a lift on it, we will see what’s it’s running. I’m assuming OME.
