First generation 4runner front axles

I have a set of short shafts from my 86 4runner that are in good shape. The boots aren't torn or anything. I don't know how old they are, but they appear to be in good condition. $25 each or $40 for both.

86 is a 2nd generation pickup and first generation 4runner. 2nd is the 90 model. At least that is my understanding of it...

1st gen runner can have a straight axle or IFS.

1st generation 4Runners have the straight axle in front for 1984 and 1985. The body style is usually what most use to differentiate between the generations. The `84 to `89 is the first body style generation of the 4Runner. So, you need to be a bit more specific when you are talking about the first generation 4Runners. IFS or straight axle?
