First off, happy new years to all.
I figured I would start here first. I finally got the linkage hooked up (had to get the correct part from JimC.) and got it all buttoned up. Pulled the choke and fired after two cranks. Let her warm up and as I pushed the choke in, she started runing high, then low, then high...you get the picture.
Drove her around the block and a marked improvement on the weber. The rig has been desmogged by the PO, meaning all I have is advance from the dizzy to the carb. I have not installed the new dizzy from JimC yet, I wanted to make sure I couild get it running before I did that.
I never had this problem with the weber. I have everything capped on the carb, accept the the advance from the sub diahpragm (outer most port on the dizzy) to the advancer port on the carb.
I have checked the ICS, I turn the key to the "on" position and unplug the ICS and then plug it back in and I hear a click. I have not put a meter on it yet.
Any other suggestions? Leak at the base of the carb?
Thanks,
Phil
