I had the linkage on my front height sensor freeze up (corrosion) and break off the tab on the upper A-arm. I welded it back in and replaced the linkage (kept the denso sensor, harvested linkage from cheap Chinese sensor from eBay), and reinstalled. Adjusted sensor to match ride height of other side by eye. Now the repaired side is 1cm lower. Do I make the final tweak of 1 cm at the sensor (still room to move in the slot) or do I use Techstream to make the change?

Thanks!
Andy

Right, may not be completely equal and 1cm is within acceptable tolerances.

You can try to adjust, either way.

The techstream height offset tool is how the factory intends to calibrate set points of sensors. The physical sensor adjustment is just as valid and the system won't know the difference anyhow.
