great setup... altho i'm somewhat partial to s2000's

not flashed yet.... it is slightly higher than the DOT spec... by about 2" but not high enough to affect any other drivers based on my experience.. if I get flashed I will angle the beam down to fall 1" lower at 25'.

I like this so much, I have been waiting, trying to get all the parts together. I finally finished this task tonight. Now I am pumped about getting them installed. The only thing I cannot find is the Depo Side Lights, so I am working to find those or some good quality replacements for the corners. I will get my 93 cruiser back from the paint shop tomorrow, and should have the rest of the parts for the lights projct in by the end of next week.

I just found out my depo lights are not coming!!!

Any have any depo lights for sale?!?!?

I too would love to see a writeup on the process. I'm hoping you snapped off some pics as you went.

Thanks,

TY

Gieser,

I've just talked to someone who has ordered a pair of DEPO's, I believe, from e-bay this morning.

Is that where you tried getting them from???

-T-,

I "think" "MikePL" has done a similar mod, possibly with bi-xenon projectors and he might have done a write-up on that...

Of course, my memory has been failing me ...

OK, I found it.

Hope it helps!

Mot

nice!!!!

I bought the same Chinese projector type lights as MikePL and my e55 BiXenon projectors and bulbs are in post.

Looking forward getting started on my retrofit.

Keen to see some in-progress pics....
And what have you done with the harness??

Great install....lots of visibility now. I need that!

I'd like to do the same thing with some HID projectors from an 03-05 Range Rover. I loved the lighting when I had my 03.

Very nice, maybe if I win the lotto I will follow your lead.

No first hand experience, but that's what I was going to go with when I was thinking of retrofitting.

Are you gonna do it??? :hillbilly:

Yep. Ordering the parts monday. They will be going in my terrible depos. Hopefully the hoodrich cracked lens wont ruin the cutoff to bad.

Very Nice, I'm jealous

Did you have to cut the housings to fit those in?

I have DEPO lights, but the light output is nowhere near that good.

If I wanted HID projectors, do you think it would be a better idea to sell the DEPO lights I have now (which seem to go for $4-500)and buy housings that are already equipped with projectors, ($1-200) and then get an HID kit ($1-200)?

Or are the projectors on the kits available nowhere near something like that? I haven't been able to find any cutoff pics from someone who has installed those yet, but I'll keep looking.

Hey Lndcruz,

I remember when I was searching the planet for stock depo lights I offered to buy yours for like $400 or $500 :)

If you cant do the retro I have a contact that retros headlights for a living... You'll need depos to send him though and he will retro TSX projectors into them.. read up on HIDplanet.com first.... good luck.

been running mine for 1.5 years with zero problems on my daily driver 80! :)
