It was almost 2 years before i pulled it off, But my plan finally came together. I knew about the Redish one first. It was sitting in a field in a remote part of town owned by the uncle of a client of mine. I believed i had a good shot at convincing him to sell it. It had sat for 10 or more years after being parked. kids had broken every peice of glass or plastic on it asside from the dome light. the body in the tail end is rough but all the running gear is there and the front 2/3 is pretty good. Complete as far as i can see other than the rear seat and a few small bits.
Landcrusher909 spotted me a rear seat. Thanks Rob!
It was actually the white one that i bought first. It was the body only, but nearly rust free. all glass intact. pretty straight.
So now i have it all. My goal is to combined them to make one good runner. It will be a long slow resto. I do plan on selling duplicate parts eventually to help offset the cost of the project. Im not really close to that point though. Still need to evaluate both and formulate a game plan. Glad to finally be part of the exclusive LV owners club!

That`s what I always think when I see such an old lady *, keep her stock and retain her "wrinkles" ;)
All who live in a dry climate, he lives in Utah I think, can do that.
Cheers
Peter

* ... but`s not my car and Germany doesn`t have a dry climate, so I only store such nice pics like the side view of this 45lv.
