Hey guys, 1st post on the site.
My in laws bought it new in '04 and I didnt much of it other than they were crazy and paid $80k. My wife and I bought it off them with 119k miles with a complete service history. It started to grow on me and then I found ih8mud, getting ideas on how I wanted to build it when it was mine. My wife got a new car so I finally got the LX, with 190k miles on it.
First thing I did was remove the factory side steps and bumpers. Being in the trades for several years,(now LE) I learned how to cut and weld steel. I hooked up with a local fab shop that bent me the pieces I wanted for damn near nothing, and I mitered them and welded them together.
Here it is now (only had it for a month) 275/70/18', front and rear bumper. AHC still works flawless. Sliders, roof rack, and RTT soon to come
