So after a year of searching and finally giving up, i found one!!!! and in my own back yard at that. Here she is upon coming home. 95 moonglow pearl, lockerd, kazuma'd, OME heavies, 200k miles and smooth as butter.
and heres a couple in its more natural environment and then i'll have to go get myself a star. So far only gripes (future posts) are rust in the back windows, roof rack removal, small clunk in pass. front, and its voracious appetite for my dollar bills.
Thanks to you all. it was a heck of a journey and i love it so far!
Beno -- whats up and will do-- we actually might make that happen
alkaline- im sure its in the works, stay in touch
Clark-- thanks for the extra inspiration... been reading up on the ROTW and drooling over your 450. wanted black no rack; wait i wanted a whole bunch of stuff, but you still got me; i can put on all your parts, but ill never have the 67k miles...... least its a cruiser
Yea, yea, yea, so he showed up and tossed the keys at me like he was rubbing it in my face. Walked outside and my jaw dropped seeing how good of condition that thing is in! Not to mention the motor has been run through, new HG and a new supercharger on it! Talk about jealous!
But i guess i can always say i had mine first and showed him the light!
295's i think, so close enough. Did i mention that just about the entire interior is new (new seats, new carpet, new steering wheel, new gear shif knobs)?
they are 285/75's goodyear wrangler MTR's ( and they are loud)
love the color as well, and yeah the new leather aint bad either. smells like it rolled out of the showroom yesterday and if you ignore that little 2 in the far left of the odometer, youd almost believe it.
hes right the mtrs are rediculously loud compared to truxxus and even the procomp at's; and i guess i might even swing him some credit for pointin me in the 80 direction
