Well after looking at it sitting in my garage, I finally got my J lift on with the help of my friend who has abundant skill in the  department. I was trying to get it done for the Big Bear run but then had to work that day anyway:censor: . I took it out to some local hills to test it out and everything seems to be working well off road at least. On road, it is alarmingly unstable. The squirrel is quite strong in this one. It pulls so hard to the left I think I could make a U turn with no hands on the wheel. I took it to the alignment shop but they said all alignment numbers were in line and blamed in on one of the tires being bad. I don't really buy that as the truck displayed similar characteristics with the stock tires still on. I think the caster needs some attention after searching a bit on here. Anyway, here are a few poser shots.

Looks great. Very clean rig. What Castor Correction did you use?

No caster correction as of yet. I am pretty sure that the lack of caster correction is a big contributor to my problems though. I think I am going to order the slee plates.

what does "Jafwl80" mean - did I miss this somewhere?

Awesome man. Another white 80! :D
Those lifts make a difference in handling and aesthetics.
If you havent bought the OME CCs, hold off until you know where youre at with the CC#s. You might just need the Slee Blue CCs rather than the OMEs.

Smitty had a white one too (but sold it) so every white 80 to him now is "just another f'n white 80" = JAFW80. Boyd pretty much coined this and I heard the term at SnT06 or was it at Calico.

nice looking rig, for a white 80, :D :D :D

as for the caster correction depends on how much of a  your freind is but search in the tech section... there are several including myself that have made our own caster correction. some flat plate, drill bits, torch or something to cut steel and a welder .. it takes less than an hour..

Good looking rig. Congrats on the lift.
