Finally got my lift!

Well, after many months of research and saving up money, i finally got my lift kit last week for my FZJ71, it has OME HD all around except for the front springs which are King Spring HD. I'd say I got about 3.5" inches of lift give or take, it will probably settle at around 3" with time.

Oh, and I also got an ARB bullbar .

Well, that's it for now, next mods will be a pair of spotlights that I already bought and are waiting for me to install them and then probably a winch.

Those are the stock LX rims we used to get in Venezuela (my 71 was built here), we don't get the fancy alloys or the gray split rims that they put on the 70s manufactured in Japan. The ones I have are steel rims, they are silver when stock, but I spray painted mine flat black.

Your cruiser looks absolutely kuraz, every bit on it i would dream to have on my 79 good on ya matespecially your rims,suspension,flares,mirrors,chrome around glass,elec windows,seats actually if they sold the coil front 5 stud lx 71's in aus id by one

There the 5 sutd puppie mate, they come on some of Aus's early gxl 105 series and some of the std turbo diesel 79 series ute

Clint, we were lucky, I say were because currently Toyota is not selling 70s in our market because they stopped making them here last year and have not been able to import any from Japan. We got some cool options but we also missed out on some big ones, like lockers and the 4 door 76, we never got them .

Ill install ARB lockers as soon as my wallet allows me to .
