I have a Fenix TA30 Flashlight, its a 3 - CR123 lithium light that I keep in the truck. Bright as heck, my brother and I occasionally stock them so we had one laying around and I decided to utilize it for T&E ;). I'm looking for a mount for it, I looked at the Fenix site but they don't carry holsters or sheaths for them.

Does anyone know of a kydex sheath that will fit one? I think bezel down would be the best way.

here's a pic of the light.

Great lights, I keep one (LD10 or LD20) in each of our vehicles and I vary between a Streamlight (model name escapes me) and an LD10 in my ambulance/transport bag.

I remember seeing very simple velcro strap mounts for smaller diameter lights, etc, but...velcro... I'd like to find something more secure myself.

the streamlights are pretty good lights too! I have a lot of Surefire's lights, mostly weapon systems but I figured I'd try out the Fenix and gotta say, its a pretty good light, just the carry options seem to be non-existent.

I thought about velcro, but its not all that secure, if i added enough velcro to make it that way then you can't grab it in a hurry.

After lots and lots of searching the interwebs no luck finding a kydex sheath that will fit it, so I think I'll try and come up with something myself, my brother and I are planning on making our own kydex knife sheaths to be compatible with one of our products. So once our initial supplies come in and we get our manufacturing area set up i'm gonna try and come up with a vehicle mount.

Custom/home made is sometimes the way to go...

Streamlight stylus pro is the name I spaced on...fits in my shirt pocket (mainly doing transport but occasionally scrubs) or pants (thigh/cargo) without taking much space or weighing down. Cheap, bright, and effective.

BTW, saw recently a Fenix ld12. Similar to tge ld10, but a bit brighter and slider selector switch as opposed to the previous rotary switch on the head.
