I recall reading on there that these were the same gasket you get from the dealer... just wanted to confirm they are NOT in fact the same. Stock gaskets are layer'd metal. The Fel Pros are standard trash you get at auto zone. Will be sending these back!

The Fel-Pro manifold-to-head gaskets I purchased from Rock Auto (MS96701) were Made in Japan and 100% identical to the original multi-layer steel OEM gaskets that I took off my '07. Unless they've changed them since April....or the non-VVTI gasket is sourced for eleswhere...they were indeed the same.

Those are non-VVTI gaskets. They must not be Japanese MLS like the VVTI versions are.
