Fellow mudder passing through with a tire blowout (1 Viewer)

Hey guys. Hello from big sky country and 406 cruisers! Passing through Colorado tonight and my tire blew out this evening on i25. In the Springs now.

Would like to see if anybody has any tips or leads on finding a good used one if it all possible to make it home. It’s a p275/55r20. Thanks!

Well that sucks - I'm sure google has already found you all the used tire businesses in the area. I got a spare from Tire King (Tires Colorado Springs | Over 120 5-Star Reviews on Google - http://tirekingcs.com/) near I25 & S. Nevada years ago. Nothing special, but they were fine to work with.

I actually just found a hotel and something to eat so I haven’t had a chance to look yet but I posted on mud to be a good place to start. Thanks for the tip!

Called around and found one at Ernesto’s. Pretty impressive with how well the hundy handled it without a flinch. Thought I’d post this in case it helps someone else.

Check out the hole it put in my mudflap. Pretty crazy!
