February 19th Club Trail Ride--Phantom Canyon/Shelf Road Loop

This month is our "traditional" loop on Phantom Canyon Road and Shelf Road. This is an easy and scenic loop that we start from HWY 50 near Canon City, drive north to Victor and Cripple Creek, and then south to Canon City. The road is easy and suitable for stock 4x4 vehicles.

Meet at the Safeway grocery store, 1920 S. Nevada Ave, between 8am and 8:30am. The group will depart at 8:30am.

Bring a lunch and snacks--we usually stop in Victor and "tail gate" for lunch.

Based on recent snow, bring recovery gear such as traction boards, tire chains, straps, shackles, etc. It is not likely these will be required, but be prepared.

This ride usually finishes around 3pm in Canon City.
