Family Vacation

Hey Guys

I am planning a family vacation to colorado in march 2011. I have a 7 and 3 yo.
We are not big snow skiers but we love winter weather and live in memphis tn so we have decided to head to colorado for march spring break to play in the snow. We are wanting a cabin or house that is secluded but within a 45 minute drive to a ski resort. We might ski 3 times on a 10 day stay.

So we would like to stay near an area where there are winter activities like snowmobiling, sleigh rides and town for some shopping. I am just not familiar with colorado to make an educated decision, so I thought I would come to the experts.

Try Breckenridge. There's lots of shopping there and the town is nice. Glenwood springs is good too. Check out traildamage.com and look for some trails local to the area.

Breckenridge, Dillion, Frisco and Silverthorne are all in the same area. Close to many of the ski areas with shopping. Hot springs pool in Glenwood sounds like it should be on your to do list.
