I just picked up a FAIRY unit as well. Yes, the unit will work with an H55. It effectively gives you TEN gears (plus the transfer case HI/LOW). That means you ultimately have TWENTY gear combinations to tool around with!

The only negatives I see are: 1) The shift lever is BEHIND the other two sticks. 2) Parts are not available in the USA.
