Alright guys lets get your input on this one, 85 Truck 2" Old Man Emu Lift-

total travel is about 7" from unloaded to bump stop, Ride height is about 4.5" till bump

Stock lines are 19" from end of fitting to fitting, Im guessing I'll need about 23"-24" maybe a bit more

I need longer front brake hoses,

OPTION 1: Should I get the 26" long SS ones from Lowrange/Trail-Gear? Do you guys have experience with these SS lines or SS lines at all? I don't think I need them 26" long because the truck is not lifted very far and I worry that they would be caught up on something if there is lots of play flopping around. COST-28$ each + shipping from Lowrange

OPTION 2: I have a local shop that can make lines SS or Rubber lines to any length(Like 23") but COST on the SS ones is about 46$ each

OPTION 3: Have the shop make a longer(23-24") RUBBER hose. Im not sure what this would cost but I'm sure it would be less than the SS ones.

I tried looking up different threads for this but did't find any for the 79-85 Hilux's and there were no solid answers on the SS lines or stick with the rubber ones

Thanks guys

Another option is getting two rear hoses and use them as extensions on your existing hoses. Rear hoses have a female-male ends. Front hoses have female-female ends. It is cheaper and stock hoses are readily available.

I run Trail-Gear's ss hoses with 3" lift on my truck and they have worked fine so far.

I just bought the aftermarket stainless lines instead of hassling with trying to find something that would work. The new Toyota ones are not cheap either. Roughly about the same price as the whole extended kit.

SS is the only and best way to go. Rubber breaks if stretched to far. SS helps keep that from happening.
