Hello,

I stumbled upon this while searching for simple / budget Overland trailers: https://www.spacetrailers.com/

To my amazement, one of their locations is 5 miles from home in Lester Prairie, MN - YES!!!

I'm going to check them out soon to see how they look. They start around $2600.

Anyone here have any experience with them?

I'll update after checking them out in person.

Thanks!

No experience, but I've two critiques based on what I can see in the pics on their pages.

Tires are too small for towing behind a 4WD. I think a 30" to 32" tall, skinny tire is the ideal size range.

Springs are too short for off-pavement travel. They will be stiff and bouncy.

Neither of these would stop you from doing both, but they're less than ideal by some distance.

I don't have experience with space trailers, but one thing I noticed from the pictures is that the frame doesn't look to be full width of the box. While this can be a weight savings, it can also affect strength of the box, as well as depending on your intented usage (if you're thinking of a hardcore trailer), may be prone to damage to the underside/sides of the cargo box.
