Exhaust vent/fan recommendation

I want to put an exhaust fan in my metal workshop. Ideally, something with controls down low or even a remote, compared to the on the fan itself. I want the louvres to open when it’s on and close when off.

Any recommendations on such a fan? Probably looking at 18-20”.

I would go belt driven for sure, big cfm with low rpm. Direct drive seems to sound like you have a bi-plane flying through.
The controls should be easy to put wherever you want.
