i did see that the front was almost the same as the rear but I wasn't looking to cut up the gasket. I looked into making one which would be easy from gasket sheet but wanted something that would last. and since the coating is done now its too late to go back an d fill the egr.

Well, here’s the only slight difference in gaskets

Just tin-snipped that small section out and bolted them up.

so the manifolds came back from getting ceramic coated, only took a 1 day turn around but wasn't able to pick them up until yesterday. they came out looking good and price was reasonable for both, 150 out the door. I got all new studs and nuts for the install and new gaskets as well,

just need to get over to the shop to have them installed and the exhaust repaired on one of my days off coming up.

manifolds were installed and exhaust pipes were fixed and the truck is so much quieter, the flex sections were totally shot out. almost all the the studs in the head were replaced, all new gaskets, pair valve and hardware was removed, new heatshields painted and installed, all new hardware and 2 new flex sections installed. ill get pics up later of the finished product

filled up the truck for the first time since getting the work done and averaged 13.1 mpg so a nice increase from the usual 11.5-12.1. I attribute about 99.9 percent of the improvement to getting the flexes replaced and no more leak at the down pips going to the manifolds, the other .1 percent is clearly due the ceramic coating because race truck
